Make 2022 your year, this year is for you to glow up, make changes. Stop saying every time next week, next year...
3 months and 2022 will come, so be ready for it, have your journal, write down your goals, and make your schedule ready.
Just start. Be excited to compare yourself now and after a year.
Here is a list of ways to help you GLOW UP:
1. Celebrate your small accomplishments.
Appreciate your small wins and be proud of them, that’s what keeps disappointment away and boosts your confidence and self-esteem.
Start with small steps, make small challenges, and try to achieve them, these are the keys to become disciplined.
2. Meditate every day:
Indulge Meditation in your routine, it is an effective way to clear your mind, organize your thoughts and know what you want and what you don’t.
stay in a calm place for 15 minutes at least, whether it is your room, nearby a river, lake.
some studies have shown that the purl of water is a helpful way to make you feel comfortable and calm your mind and soul.
3. Shop less, appreciate what you already have more.
Of course, we all love to spoil ourselves with new clothes, shoes, home decor, etc… but it is important, especially, after the Coronavirus, to make sure to know how much did we spend, and on what?
Instead of spending money on things that you know you can live without them but they are eye-catchy, try to feed your bank account more and stop worrying about making a new place for your purchases.
this comes to our 4th step which is:
4. Save 1 to 5 dollars every day:
Make it a challenge for you to save a few dollars every day, without touching them for the whole month. and put what you saved in your bank account. it is an easy and effective process:
a dollar a day for a week=7 dollars *4=28 dollars.
I know it is not a big amount of money, but it is much better than not saving anything.
5. Your daily dose of positive affirmations:
Every day when you wake up and before going to bed, remind yourself how worthy you are, of love, greatness, kindness.
remind yourself of the things you like in yourself, your hair, skin, eyes, your hard work, your consistency, your strength…
Tell yourself “I am worthy of my dreams” every single day.
6. Let go of toxic people:
We all have a few persons in our lives that are always criticizing, complaining, or taking without giving back.
If you want to glow up, you need to cut them off or at least reduce the time you spent with them.
This step can be a little hard because there are toxic people we can’t get rid of them that easily, they can be your parents or siblings.
What you can do is just avoid discussing with them topics you know will make you feel inferior or decrease your self-esteem.
7. Indulge in your routine new healthy habits:
Habits whether good or bad, don’t give you instant effects, their effects appear over time, so do not wait for instant results.
for example, it is easy to avoid working out, but over time, you will regret why you stopped exercising when you see yourself breathing hard when you go on stairs, or carry a heavy thing.
so do not wait for that day to feel regret.
Begin now, healthy habits are that simple, all you need is to be consistent.
some examples of healthy habits you can include in your routine are:
waking up early,
exercising: Yoga, HIIT, walking
Avoiding checking your phone the whole day
Learn to cook new healthy recipes,
Read: extend your knowledge…
Your habits will whether make or break you and you can choose.
8. Clean your messes right away:
If you have clothes to tidy up, or dishes to wash, do it now.
don’t let your mess get bigger and bigger, because this will affect your mood, and you won’t be able to focus and concentrate in the right way.
9. Be the positive energy you want to see in the world:
Be a good example of positive people who spread hope. Be a good example for others to follow you and help them glow.
10. Admit your mistakes and apologize when you are wrong:
Be aware of your mistake, and If you know you’re in the wrong, then this is your responsibility to make it right. The other person will appreciate it and be able to move on more easily.
don’t let people hold a grudge against you.
11. Declutter:
Keep only items that you use regularly. Don’t say “ I will need this someday” if you haven’t used that item for this month, then just get rid of it, sell it, or donate it.
keep in your home what you will use on daily basis.
12. Daily gratitude practice.
Take time every day to appreciate all the good things in your life.
Gratitude helps you build a peaceful mindset and improve your mood and happiness.
Be grateful for:
Waking up safe every morning.
Having a roof to sleep under and walls to cover you
Your beaten heart
Your legs that take you where you want to go.
the opportunity you had to learn to read and write
Having food to eat, others are starving for days.
Getting a good night’s sleep.
Freedom of speech.
Quiet moments where you can just be.
Walks on the beach.
Clean water.
Finding money where you didn’t expect it.
Laughing until you cry.
Hard lessons that made you stronger.
13. Hydration:
Drink a glass of water every morning, you can add some mint, drops of lemons to change the flavor and detoxify your body
Drinking a glass in the morning helps get you off on the right foot.
14. Stretch or do yoga before bed or after waking up:
Stretching is a great way to release the stress that we carry in our bodies and helps us fall asleep more easily at night.
15. Accept the difference in people:
Being different from each other is what makes us unique, what helps improve our world.
We are humans, we have different thoughts, different points of view, different looks to the future.
But sometimes we don’t get along, so we have to be nice to each other, accept a different point of view even if we don’t agree with it, we need to value each other for what we are.
16. write down ideas before you forget them.
Always, carry with you a notebook or notes app.
Don’t say, I can remember, especially if you have a lot of tasks to do.
writing down ideas and notes, help you remember them more precisely.
16. Stop being afraid of challenges:
Instead, say ‘thank you every time you face a new challenge, instead of getting frustrated, because it is another opportunity, to learn something new that you can use in future situations and discover yourself more.
17. Be there for your friends when they need you.
That’s what friendships are for, Be there for your friends when they’re going through hard times, and don’t expect anything in return.
Do what you can, advise them, remind them of their strength, be kind to them. you may think you are not helpful but put in mind that a word from a loved one means a lot.
Just treat people the way you want to be treated.
18. Stop judging:
Practice compassion instead of judgment. Whether it’s with yourself or other people, Replace judgment with compassion and empathy.
19. Defeat your limiting beliefs:
The direction of your life is determined by your limiting beliefs, your Limiting beliefs can hold you back from so much in life, if you believe you’ll fail then you will. On the other hand, if you believe you’ll succeed you’ll keep trying until you do.

20. Read at least one book every month:
Challenge yourself to read every day from 15 to 20 pages. or you can listen to audiobooks. This is a very great way for your mental glow-up.
21. Be your own cheerleader.
Give yourself compliments every day, you don’t need someone to cheer you on, learn to be your own partner and best friend in life, encourage yourself every day, and believe in your abilities.
22. Forgive yourself for not being perfect:
We all make mistakes, that is what makes us humans.
Instead of blaming yourself for not being perfect and not doing your work perfectly, try looking for the lessons you can learn from your failure, making mistakes is a part of the human experience.
23. Get out of your comfort zone:
Learn to take chances. Leaving your comfort zone helps to work your guts and adapt to any situation you face.
24. Be around positive and inspiring people:
Follow people who are full of positive vibes, who uplift and live the kind of life you want. This will help you boost your confidence and self-esteem.
25. Put yourself first:
Make yourself a priority, live for yourself, take care of yourself, your mental health, and your body. It is not selfish to avoid negative people because you know they will hurt you, or stop saying yes to everyone around you even if this doesn’t make you happy.
