Habits you need to indulge in your life to help you improve your life and have that healthy life and mind that you always wanted.

# Meditation:

Make 30 minutes for yourself, lock yourself in your room, or go out, if you know a calm place whether, on the beach or green space, you can just sit there, organize your thoughts, breathe deeply.

#Practise gratitude:

A peaceful mindset is a grateful mindset, even in the most difficult times.

Every time I feel inferior, or not enough I, always, thank god for being healthy, for being able to see, hear, taste delicious foods, walk, move my body the way I want, for having a family that cares for me, for having good friends.

Learn to be grateful for the smallest things. Many people wish to have what you do and you think it is not enough.

So always remind yourself of the good things that you’ve done and you have.

You can do this daily. every night, before going to bed, you can write down 3 things you are grateful for.

# Stop saying “YES” to everyone:

This is an important point for me because I am that person who always accepts what people want, and agrees with what people think even if, deep down, I am not.

I just feel guilty for saying no. or I feel scared if I wouldn’t agree, they won’t treat me as they were, or hold a grudge against me.

# Go out:

Try to take some rest by leaving the house, and going out for a walk.

Of course, no phone around you. focus on the scenery, the view: houses, trees, animals, the sky, the smell of herbs... be mindful of the things that are around you.

#Declutter:

Make sure to have a clean environment.

Organize your room and your house. get rid of the things that you don’t need, and that you didn’t use for a long time or you think one day you will use them.

Or you can give yourself a period of time, for example, 2 months, during these 2 months, if you didn’t use these things then you won’t need them at all.

#Daily positivity:

Another important point is “positive affirmations”.

start your day by talking to yourself positively:

remind yourself how strong you are, how worthy, beautiful, confident,  kind, healthy, wealthy…

Studies have shown that when speaking to yourself positively, you are convincing your subconscious mind to defeat its limiting beliefs.

# Self-care:

When I say “ self-care I don’t mean using expensive hair or skin products.

These days, the word “self-care” has a material purpose more than its true purpose.

“Self-care” can be reading a book, watching your favorite movie, eating your favorite meal…

#social media detox:

Sometimes, or maybe always for some people, to feel sad, lost, anxious…

So they just spend days in bed checking social media over and over, and what they don’t know is that they are driving their mood to a worse place.

Social media affect our minds without really noticing, so it will be just perfect to take a rest from this virtual world to clear your mind, work on your goals and know yourself better.

#Get some laughter:

Watch something that makes laugh, a film, an episode of your favorite tv show.

#workout:

Just choose a youtube video and follow. there’s no need to go to the gym. you can also go for a walk or jog.

#Stop complaining:

When you are complaining, you are leading yourself to focus on the negative things. of course, we don’t want this to happen. so stop complaining.

you can read this blog from Southern Living that gives more details on how complaining can literally shrink your brain

#Sunset and sunrise:

Try to wake up early and watch the sunrise, or go to high place a,d watch sunset. you will be amazed by the enormous emotions you will get.

#Compliment yourself:

Every day when you wake or before going to sleep, list everything you love about yourself, they can be things related to your look, or to your actions.

For example, when I wake up I look at myself in the mirror and I say:

I love your eyes

I love the shape of your lips

I love your skin.

I love that you are kind to people.

I like that you respect people and don’t respond aggressively to someone who said bad words about you.

I love that you are a hard-working person…

#Hydration and healthy food:

Always try to eat healthily and have at least 8 glasses of water. it is ok to have cheat meals of course. you don’t need to be strict with yourself all the time, because this will only make you crave more and more.

#Kindness:

Always be kind, donate anything that you no longer need. help others to help yourself.

#Screen-free before bed:

Try to read a book or journal before sleeping instead of checking your phone.

#Journaling:

When you are journaling, you are helping yourself to discover your own you, what you like and what you don’t, what you are dreaming of, and what your goals are.

journaling is a therapeutic way that a lot of phycologists recommend.

#Push yourself:

Get out of your comfort zone, do things out of the ordinary, feel that tension, that discomfort, make your guts work. take an action and face things that cause you to fear. I think that no matter what will happen, it won’t be the end of the world. and when you do that, you will see how these things are not scary as you thought, you may even laugh at yourself.

#Put yourself first:

Always make yourself a priority, it is not selfish to put yourself first as long as you don’t have the intention to hurt who are around you. you always deserve to come first and put your needs first. don’t let anyone tells you the opposite.
