for me yoga was a refuge to hide not only from overthinking, stress but also from body complexity and low self-esteem.
practicing yoga, taught me to organize my thoughts, think clearly and be satisfied with who i am, it helped me reduce back pain that i used to suffer from all the time.it helped to become physically and mentally stronger than i was before
yoga has become a daily routine:
practicing yoga 10 minutes a day in the morning, after I woke up, helped me to be more energetic and be ready fo the day.
i don't over-push myself in the morning. all i do is some meditation, breathing techniques, or yoga flow.
when i am in a mood, i increase the level of difficulty to become 30 minutes to 1 hour of yoga with some exercises that consist of stretching and strength.
as a result, I've noticed some positive changes not only physically but also mentally:

i used to feel some pricks in my heart. it used to happen 3 to 4 times a week which always leads me to worry if i am suffering from a disease or something. but practicing yoga helped me know the correct technique of breathing that reduces this pain and now it rarely does happen. besides Studies show that yoga may help improve heart health and reduce several risk factors for heart disease.
There is a study that found that participants over 40 years of age who practiced yoga for five years had lower blood pressure and pulse rate than those who didn’t.
Yoga helps with back pain relief.
Yoga is as good as basic stretching for easing pain and improving mobility in people with lower back pain. There are some specific yoga poses that help reduces back pain.
