Food :
Must never be earned.
Moving your body must never be done as a punishment.
Eat because your body said so, think with your mind not due to the fact you are hungry and you want to eat every food on the table and not with your eyes.
Always prioritize your mind. Ask yourself if you are really that hungry. Or the fact that you saw all of these meals with your eyes made you feel you want them all.
It’s not a must to costume all the food, there is nothing wrong if you left some, life is not going to end and, you are not going to die.
Don't move your body as a purpose of punishment for what you ate.
Instead, do it because you want to because it makes you feel much better because you know that this will help you in the long run.
For example, when you walk avoid taking into consideration burning calories so you can award yourself with a slice of pecan pie. instead, think that these walks are helpful for your body. They allow you to clear your mind, enjoy the sparkling air and sunshine.
Try to create an enjoyable and sustainable way of life without being hush on yourself, so when you eat that meal you know that it won't make a difference.
How to Avoid the “Exercise is Punishment” Mentality:
Move your body in ways you enjoy. This can be in the form of total body strength training workouts, hiking, yoga, rock climbing, dancing, spinning, or whatever you experience and enjoy it.
Follow an eating style that is effective for you.
Limit sugar consumption and junk food ( once per week is enough).
Always be grateful you have a multitude of food to enjoy and people to share it with, Instead of getting worried over how many calories you’ll consume on a special occasion and causing yourself useless stress,
Stop obsessing over what number of carbs you’re eating and dunk yourself at the moment.
Focus on what to do for the following 364 days of the years instead of obsessing over a single meal and you need to know that not a single meal, no matter how large and calorie-laden it may be, will make a difference.
How to avoid training addiction:
Put together a timetable and attempt to persist with it
For example, if you are planning to do 20 min workout, do it and don’t add greater exercises because you felt guilty about what you had eaten.
If you felt guilty, try taking some walks: it’s a very good way to keep you away from stress and overthinking. it clears your thoughts and makes you feel good by enjoying the fresh air and sunshine and maybe meeting some mates.
In case you ate loads and felt guilty, do not be hush on yourself, instead, treat yourself like you treat a baby: you can say ''It’s ok, there is nothing wrong, you deserve it today'' ''one meal won't make a difference''.
