“I worked hard but I failed, I am scared if I will try, I'll fail again, I don't want to risque it anymore, that is enough”.
“Yes I failed, more than once, more than twice, and I
will continue failing as long as I am learning from my mistakes, as long as I am working hard, I know I will get there one day, I won’t give up on these
dreams, they are the reason I am living”.
This is how you can know the difference between a consistent and an inconsistent person.
For some people, life is getting harder and harder, especially after the pandemic. which makes them feel disappointed and
gave up easily.
That's why we must be aware that failing is a necessary part of the process, and we must continue trying and working hard to achieve that dream, even after many failed attempts.
But the words are much easier than the act.
To be successful in your life and to continue working, we need to be consistent.
Personally, consistency is the key to success.
Motivation can fade away from your first failed attempt, whereas consistency will be your guide to continue your journey no matter what.
That's why in this article I am going to share with you some tips that helped and still helping me to continue working on my plans and goals.
1.
No excuses:
The first thing you need to do: stop making excuses, because you are hurting yourself, only you, you are not giving your best, you are choosing to give up than to try harder, I know the human being will have some times where he feels worthless and weak, by saying “I’ve tried my best and it didn’t work”.
This is not true, human beings have unlimited power.
It
is okay to feel this way, but try to make sure to not let those feelings control you, you
control yourself, you are the dominator in this process.
You are your own BOSS.
You
can work harder because it will always be hard, but you will choose the hard.
2.
Make a promise to yourself:
Treat yourself the way you treat who you love. If You made a promise to yourself, don’t let her down.
IF you let yourself down, then probably you are not the person who should rely on and trust, when you make a promise for someone to give help.
If you know this isn’t you, and you can
keep a promise you made, then prove it.
3.
Hard work:
Always put in mind that hard work pays
off. Success won't just come when you are seating on your sofa watching tv or
eating junk food.
If you work hard, you’ll get to what you
want, it can be in a month, year, or even more.
As long as you are giving your
best, learning from your mistakes and others’ mistakes, you will get what
you want.
4.
Be around positive people:
Your parents, grandparents, brother,
sister, friend, cousin, teacher, neighbor...
Anyone who can give you positive
energy and a boost of confidence.
Anyone who can advise you and be there
for you at any time.
Those people are one of the keys to your
development.
Being around positive people, boosts your confidence, helps you continue working, and encourage you to give yourself, so who doesn't want that?
5.
Goals settings:
You might have heard of this before, yes it
is necessary to set your goals.
Write them down, check them every day, and see if you are following the right path.
Always, keep your goals in mind, before
going to bed, when you wake up.
Don’t be afraid of dreaming: imagine, make
a plan, prepare for the first steps.
6.
Positive compliments:
You need to trust yourself, you need to
give yourself a responsibility in order to be able to handle it.
Don’t underestimate yourself. When you say "it is hard, I can’t do it anymore, I failed a lot and I will fail again", Try instead, to remind yourself of your effort, your strength, don't be shy to look at yourself in the mirror and talk to her.
Be aware that you are stronger than your excuses, and you can defeat your limiting beliefs.
And remind yourself Consistency is the key to success.
