Believe me, I had moments when I couldn’t get up from bed. I felt so heavy, my body was extremely tired like an old lady that I could hardly walk, even when I get up from bed I feel dizzy and lost sight for seconds.

what are the causes ??

Overthinking may be one of them: starting from events that happened in the past to what will happen to me in the future. I always think about my future job .why can’t I do anything in this country? why there are no opportunities? . I felt useless with no goals in life. Just a normal student who still depends on the money that takes from her parents.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who felt this way.

So I start by:

Asking myself: what are you doing right now?  Why don’t you want to do anything?

Is just staying in bed, staring at the wall will help to achieve your goals?

What I did to motivate myself?

You must be determined. You must create a determination. don’t say I can’t because you are convincing your mind that it’s impossible. you must have a little hope because hope will encourage you to take an action.  Create that hope. Have faith in yourself make some goals and force yourself to achieve them.

And by taking an action, I mean ‘’ initiative’’:  never say later, if you want to do something then do it right now, don’t just come up with excuses, find solutions right now.

These 2 actions ‘’determination’’ and ‘’ initiative’’ are keys to your motivation. They are the hardest steps. Everything after that will become much easier, trust me.

Make some goals, they don’t need to be big ones like traveling or buying a car or a house. Begin with small and easy steps that you can make them daily habits, for example, read books, find a hobby writing, drawing, dancing doing yoga.

Don’t have that superficial look, always search for what is hidden. Don’t say ‘’ uwh drawing’’. there are multiple ideas of how you draw, Try it and then you can judge by yourself, you can’t know, you may find an interest in one of them. All you need to do is discovering.

for example, I knew the time I spent doing nothing is just a time wasted in my life. I didn’t want to lose more so I start reading, anything whether from the internet or any book just to make my eyes rest from the screen, and I made a promise to myself to read every day for 15 minutes

after a period of time, I became searching for books that touch mental health and self-development, and I discovered my love for reading.

so, don’t say I don’t like anything or I don’t have a hobby. Most of the time your skills are hidden because you didn’t try to find them.

Make a schedule and stick to it: the first time will be hard but it is up to you to choose between the hard.

Try to make your day full of activities so you can get rid of routines:

Journaling, practicing yoga, walking, blogging, watch helpful YouTube videos, clean your room, take care of your garden, have a new challenge for example: learn headstand in 2 weeks or be more flexible.  There are multiple options and again it is up to you.

Follow  people who influence society in a positive way for examples fitness  or yoga instructors, life coaches, people who made a fortune in an early age...  these influencers will help you change the way you think and create new healthy habits,

Personally, they helped me focus on myself and my body. They helped me accept myself and my body, know what my body needs, have faith in myself, and how to have a growth mindset.

Motivation means energy: humans need some energy throughout the day.

Here are some tips to help you stay energizing all day:

 1/stay hydrated:

When you wake up, make sure the first thing you do is drinking water almost half a liter. drinking water should be at the top of your priorities list.

2/healthy breakfast:

Have a balanced and healthy breakfast, take your vitamins, and get in a bit of exercise are just a few ways to keep the energy up.

3/ fresh air:

Get some fresh air to wake yourself up during these past 2 years almost most of us work from home.

personally, being constantly a prisoner inside has always made me feel a bit wasteful. Fresh air is one of the most wonderful, natural, energy boosters. So, it is better to go for a walk, sitting in the garden, or even just dashing open a window for an instant boost.

4/Minimize your carbs intake:

As I know people are pretty sensitive toward food. BUT, you must know the minimum carbs you eat especially during lunch, the less tired you are.

5/Get up and stretch or do some Yoga:

Yoga has become an integral part of my daily routine because it helps me get an energy boost when I need it. Practicing yoga at any time of day, whether in the morning or afternoon. Always keeps you energized.

6/Step away from the screen:

Screens can make you tired. I’m a student, I study from 8a.m to 5p.m so I don’t have time to check out my inst or youtube during the day which always made me feel less tired than I am during the holidays.

This is a hard one to follow if you work in an office or from your laptop but AT LEAST take a break from the screen during your lunch break.

7/Have a healthy snack:

Fruit, cereal bars, granola, vegetables, etc! These are excellent options that help you boost your energy.
